The Dundee Arms Inn is a unique hotel that comes highly recommended for its atmosphere and friendly service. Lowe Brothers of Charlottetown constructed this Queen Anne revival mansion in 1903 for Mr. Parker Carvell whom with his father Lieutenant Governor Jedediah Carvell operated a flourishing produce business. The building stood as a private residence until 1956 and was finally converted to an Inn in 1972. While extensive restorations have been carried out the original character and charm of the property has been maintained.A truly authentic Inn featuring 8 tastefully decorated Inn rooms, an award winning Griffon Dining Room and an English style Hearth and Cricket Pub. The rooms are furnished in rich cherry wood and they come equipped with two chairs, a small fridge, air conditioning, hair dryer and color TV.
